Bio:

Sapana Kharel is the Director of Kathmandu Pragya Kunja School. She has a passion for flower art and established one of the first floriculture shops in Nepal. She has been associated with the education sector for the last 20 years and has positively impacted the community. Her expertise lies in Oshibana, an art form that involves transforming dry flower parts into life-like art, and Chigiri-e, which uses colored paper that is torn to create images. She learned about these art forms during her 13-year stay in Japan and received a Diploma in Flower Design from the Nippon Flower Designer’s Association in 2010.
